Le BTS Bio-Analyses et Contrôles est engagé depuis 2 années dans l’obtention de la charte Erasmus + qui a pour objectif de permettre aux étudiants d’obtenir des financements pour aller faire des stages dans toute l’Europe.

The BTS Bio-Analyses et Contrôles is a technical degree, the equivalent of a Higher National Diploma (UK) / Associate Degree (US) in Biological Analyses and Quality Control.

During the two-year course students study biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, microbiology, bioindustrial technology, physics and chemistry, mathematics, english, french, computing. The students study in small groups (16 students maximum) and use state-of-the-art equipment in modern laboratories.

The students who take part in the Erasmus programme have extra lessons in English to improve their linguistic skills and get ready for their work placement abroad.

The students go on a four-week work placement during the first year of their studies and on a ten-week work placement during the second year. These work placements are compulsory.

After graduating, the students can work as laboratory technicians in the food-processing industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the cosmetics industry or the scientific police. They can also work in universities and public research institutes.

Their graduation is validated by a french national exam (equivalent to 120 ECTS).
